NIPT: safe prenatal screening from a blood test

We assess the risk of Down syndrome and other chromosomal conditions in your baby

Book the test
  • Geneticist's consultation included
  • Results from 4 days
  • NGS technology
  • An internationally trained team

What is NIPT

NIPT analyses placental DNA in the mother's blood and assesses the risk of Down, Edwards and Patau syndromes and other chromosomal conditions in the baby

From week 10 of pregnancy, NIPT assesses these risks from an ordinary blood test of the mother. Based on the results, a geneticist chooses a personal plan for the pregnancy.

How does the test work?

  1. 1. Book the test

Leave your number and we will call you to arrange a time.

  2. 2. Give a blood sample

A nurse takes a small sample of blood from a vein.

  3. 3. Get your results

In 8–12 working days, or in 4 days with express testing.

  4. 4. Discuss them with a geneticist

The doctor explains the results and tells you whether any other tests are needed.

Why GeneHUB

Our goal is to bring the achievements of world genetics and molecular diagnostics into the national healthcare system to improve the quality of medical care and protect people's health

In prenatal diagnostics, this means every mother-to-be can get reliable information about her baby's health early in pregnancy.

How do we do it?

Our own NGS laboratory

We run next-generation sequencing in our own local laboratory: no international shipping risks and less time from the blood draw to the decoded data.

Clinical control and standards

Every step, from the blood draw to bioinformatic analysis and validation of results, follows strict international protocols that keep the data reproducible and confidential.
